I’m Alex Close. A digital designer, musician, and proud cat-dad from Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

My creative journey began in 2017, studying Level 3 Creative Media at SRC, Armagh. I first found my feet designing posters and band logos while playing in my own band, Blackout Season, and later continued my studies with a Level 5 in Creative Media at Belfast Metropolitan College. From the get go I have always dreamed of blending my passion for design and music.

In 2019, I launched Breakout Music, a platform dedicated to supporting unsigned artists across Belfast and beyond. Through live shows, podcasts, and promotional content, I championed local talent until the pandemic, and my pursuit of my former band, Red Eye Pariah, led me to close that chapter.

From 2021 until October 2025, I created all of the visuals and managed the creative direction for Red eye Pariah. Design was only part of my input as I handled everything from tour-booking, songwriting, PR, and driving the overall vision. This opened the door to working with a variety of artists, creatives, and small businesses. These collaborations have shaped my unique design style - bold, music-inspired, and tailored to each project’s needs.
